Smart.form approach?

Hi,

Regarding Smart.Form, what I can determine, there are a couple of different ways to create a form each outlined in their respective example
1) https://www.htmlelements.com/vue/demos/form/datetime/
2) https://www.htmlelements.com/vue/demos/form/template/
3) https://www.htmlelements.com/vue/demos/form/form-web-component/
4) https://www.htmlelements.com/vue/demos/form/autogenerate/
5) ?

Is there a compelling reason to chose one over the other?
Or it’s arbitrary, either approach works w/o loss of functionality?

Hi,

You can choose whatever approach fits you.

For example: If you fetch the template
If you fetch the controls from somewhere you may choose the Smart.Form constructor.
If not you can use the smart tags.

Ok clear. I have ~100 template forms created in jqwidgets that are in need of being migrateed to Smart Form.
What are the exact differences between jqwidgets form and Smart Form?
What is the suggested approach for migrating to Smart Form?

Hi,

The only way to do so is to manually change the properties from your templates to the corresponding ones of the Smart.Form.
Note that there can be major changes in the properties as SmartUI and jQWidgets are different products
