Hello,
I’ve built a very basic web app with some smart-grids showing data and some smart-textboxes. Now I have a problem with a very high CPU Usage when the site’s opened and I’m not having any explanation for that. Even when I’m not loading any data, Chrome needs a few percent of my CPU. When I’m scrolling through a grid Chrome needs even 8-10%. Do you have any suggestions how to reduce the CPU Usage? Or do you have any experiences with High CPU Usage and Smartelements?
The site is used on terminal servers with many users. So it is depending on running performant.
Hi Gerhard,
It is normal a CPU to rise when you scroll through a Grid, because there are calculations being made by the component, sometimes cells formatting, loading of html templates, etc. What we can recommend is, if you do not use the advanced features of the Grid and you do not work with large data set to switch to our lightweight version – the Table component.
