Problems with mouse wheel

In my application I use some smart dropdown lists.

When a dropdown list has the focus, if I use the mouse wheel it doesn’t scroll the page but values within the dropdown.

This is not a standard behaviour and it’s confusing for users.

How can I solve that issue ?
