I was just wondering if anyone has used the Vue Data Grid with Inertia.js? If so, what’s your experience? The Smart HTML components look amazing and I’ve successfully played around with the demos where the data source is integrated and I am very impressed. However, I can’t seem to get Data Grid working with Inertia.js, so I am wondering anyone else has used it with with Inertia.js for a project?
Unfortunately, we do not have integration help topics with Inertia.js and have not used it. I will create a work item for adding a doc topic about that in the future.
Basically, the Grid can display data from simple Javascript array so if you pass such, it will display it.
Thank you for the quick response. Inertia.js pass data as a “page object” (https://inertiajs.com/the-protocol#the-page-object). I’ve tested it successfully with a few other vue component libraries where I’ve pulled table data in via a prop. I was hoping I might be able to use a similar approach but would be happy with whatever works. I would love to try Smart UI Vue components in a future project so I look forward to the future docs on this topic.
