Hi,
You can easily achieve that by selecting the inner input element of the smart-input and setting the attribute ‘maxlength’. See here: https://codepen.io/dkeamcaksoem/pen/QWrrPzw
Alternatively, you can use textbox: https://www.htmlelements.com/demos/textbox/overview/ The smart-text-box has got maxlength
